Home Buying: 3 Major Mistakes

Before you set out to buy a home make sure that you do not make the three major mistakes that many buyers regret later on; refusing to confide in a trusted advisor, altering the financial picture prior to closing, and buying the wrong house .These mistakes have great consequences and can last for a long period of time. Some buyers will refuse to give out important information. Unfortunately this lack of communication becomes evident when it is too late. At times the buyer may not be aware that they in fact are not sharing information that could be beneficial to the Agent. However, sometimes some buyers fear how this information will be perceived by the agent. Buyers need to know that the agent has probably heard it all. As a result they should not feel ashamed to share their thoughts on any matter even if they are backing out of a transaction. These lists should be followed religiously and if certain items are overlooked they run the risk of paying for their negligence. For example, a family purchased a home with one bathroom because they fell in love with it, even though they were looking for a two bathroom home. Within a year of living in the one bathroom home they figured that it was not manageable, and they lost money on the resale, plus it cost more to buy the two bathroom home.
